A happy and unique person, a faithful traveler and friend, as well as being a protective daughter and sister. She chose to become a gynecologist and obstetrician at the age of 12, demonstrating her determination from an early age. She embraces all the complexity of being a woman, being passionate about life and connecting deeply with people.

Oh, and yes, she’s an Aquarius! Débora likes to approach things differently, being authentic in her essence. She has a genuine love for people and cares about their well-being.

She always keeps an eye on the future and has a special enthusiasm for innovations. Her perspective is global, as she feels part of the world as a whole. However, she can sometimes be a little stubborn, but that is part of her unique personality.

Minimally invasive surgeon?

Minimally invasive surgery is a type of surgical procedure that uses advanced techniques to perform interventions in the gynecological area with minimal incisions and damage to surrounding tissues.

This approach is preferred by surgeons because of its benefits to the patient, including less pain, faster recovery, shorter hospital stays, and reduced risk of complications.

There are different types of minimally invasive gynecological surgery, including laparoscopy and robotic surgery.

In laparoscopy, the surgeon inserts a small optical instrument through a small incision in the abdomen, allowing him to view internal organs and perform surgery with small surgical tools inserted into other incisions.

In robotic surgery, a robot controlled by the surgeon is used to perform surgery through small incisions.
This minimally invasive approach is common in procedures such as hysterectomy (removal of the uterus), myomectomy (removal of uterine fibroids), treatment of endometriosis and oophoroplasties (treatment of ovarian cysts).

The type of surgery chosen depends on the patient’s specific condition and indications are always preceded by attempts at clinical treatments, lots of conversation and shared decisions to achieve the best result for each patient.
